Kelly's Reserve Pinot Noir
Wine
Home Hill Kelly's Reserve Pinot Noir, a 2015 Jimmy Watson trophy winner, is the winery's flagship. Named for the founders' daughter Kelly, the wine is a blend of the top barrels of the vintage.
It is drawn from the 1992 planted estate vineyard in Tasmania's Huon Valley. One small section of the vineyard is at the wine's core.
Select parcels of fruit are fermented predominantly as whole berries with natural yeasts. The wine remains on skins for several weeks prior to maturing in new and seasoned French oak barrels.
Deep crimson, Home Hill Kelly's Reserve Pinot Noir has succulent fruit flavours, poised acidity and fine, dense tannins. Cellaring potential is 12 years.
